Dec 2015 Power Production Management, Inc. Approved for Participation in the Preferred Contractor Network

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – November 20, 2015 – After careful review for compliance, Power Production Management, Inc. (PPM) was approved for participation in the Preferred Contractor Network (PCN) by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). The OUC Preferred Contractor Network provides contact data for listed contractors categorized by specialty, standards of conduct and Code of Ethics and customer feedback mechanisms. Power Production Management, Inc. is now one of six Solar Photovoltaic Systems (Solar electric or PV) preferred contractors with the Orlando Utilities Commission.

Sheila Rivera, OUC Conservation Coordinator contacted PPM in an email stating, “...After careful review of the agreement, we are pleased to inform you that your company was approved for participation in the Preferred Contractor Network.”

According to OUC, the company “receives thousands of calls every year from customers needing the assistance of home repair and service professionals." PPM will now be accessible to the thousands of OUC customers that are interested in having a solar PV system installed at their home or business through the PCN. When a PV system is installed in OUC territory, customers may qualify for an additional solar production credit for each kilowatt-hour that their system produces every month.

Jason Gonos, Co-founder of PPM, said, “We are proud to be a part of the OUC Preferred Contractor Network. OUC is a very progressive utility that promotes the growth of solar energy usage in Florida. Our OUC customers get an additional five cents per kilowatt-hour on top of standard net metering. This makes solar an easy choice here."

Alex Khokhlov, Co-founder of PPM, said, “We are very excited to be a part of PCN. Solar today is more affordable and reliable than ever. When it is coupled with the OUC incentives, it creates the most advantageous solar energy environment in the State of Florida"

PPM installs Sunpower PV panels for its customers and is an exclusive dealer of these top-of-the-line solar panels.

OUC–The Reliable One is a municipal utility owned by the citizens of Orlando. It provides electricity and water services to 250,000 customers in Orlando, St. Cloud, and parts of Orange and Osceola counties.
